Chana Masala Recipe – Indian Curry

Introduction:

It is the masala combination of boiled chickpeas, sesame, tomato puree and other ingredients majorly. Mostly this dish can be seen in Indian restaurants.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of boiled chickpeas
  • Sufficient Garam Masala
  • 1/4 cup coconut powder
  • 1/4 cup Red chili powder
  • Sufficient salt
  • 1/4 cup sesame powder
  • 1 cup Tomato puree
  • Sufficient Turmeric
  • 1 cup Coriander leaves
  • 1 Tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 cup onion paste
  • Sufficient oil
  • 1 Tsp Popu Dinusulu
  • 1 Tsp Ginger garlic paste

Procedure:

  • Heat the sufficient oil in pan

  • Add Popu Dinusulu and temper it

  • Add Ginger paste (fried grinded paste) and fry it well

  • Now add ginger garlic paste and mix it well

  • Now add Turmeric Powder and mix it well

  • Now add Tomato puree (4 tomato) and mix it well

  • Allow it for 2 mins until the oil comes to top layer

  • After 2 mins, if oil comes to top layer, then try to mix it again

  • Now add boiled chickpeas , mix it properly then allow it for 2 mins

  • After 2 mins add red chili powder, salt, coconut powder and sesame powder, mix it properly

  • Again allow it for 3 or 4 mins
  • After 4 mins add some water, mix it and allow it for 5 mins

  • After 5 mins add corainder powder, garam masala, corainder leaves, mix it and allow for 2 more mins

  • After 2 mins mix it again and take into bowl carefully

  • Hot Tasty Chana Masala Curry is ready for serving
